The denim decor workshop is an intensive two part class where participants create a heirloom of all heirlooms. Participating makers will learn to embroider and embellish denim with beads and applique in the first class. In the second class, participants will learn studding, painting with fabric paint and enameling of metal trimmings (i.e. buttons, rivets, etc).
Just bring a jacket, jeans, cut-offs, bag or whatever denim-y garment you choose and walk away with the satisfaction of having a beautiful, unique piece of wearable art crafted by your own hands. Come make a one-of-a-kind garment that the whole world will envy!
Hosted my the lovely Michelle Bock-Haynes the workshop will take place over both Sundays:
June 10th and June 24th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Sliding scale workshop fee starting at $75 dollars for instruction and materials, includes both classes.
