Join us for the opening reception of Wild Edges works by Van Waring.
Van Waring has roots in the Central Valley, and lives and works in West Marin on a small homestead with her family, making art at the kitchen table, in between digging holes in the garden, shelving books in the library, singing songs and telling tales. Her art explores ecological awareness and awkward humanness. Van is inspired by the forms and colors of the local coastal landscape, as well as the various characters who inhabit the small town she lives in.
