Bean-In
Our first Bean Wednesday was super delicious. Gravel ended up going with Black Beans + Rice, straight from the heart, and he was joined by Danny Bowien, the one and only 2008-2010 Pesto World Champion and a former chef at Bar Tartine, who prepared Bean + Beer soup.
Please join us next Wednesday lunch hour for another serving, and this time I suggest you bring your own lovely bowl—few took us up on the plastic containers, and those handsome bamboo boats were too damn small! Pesto bread sticks, and of course new and various beans, have been promised for next week.
