    Berkeley, CA | Travis Joseph Meinolf (11/11/1978) is known internationally as a Weaver, but also has experience in: Acting for Film, Stage and TV; Blogging; Editorial and Runway Modeling; Graphic and Product Design; University and Primary School Art Teaching; Voiceover Work, and Writing. His fine art has been displayed alongside works by esteemed figures including Tauba Auerbach, Chuck Close, Peter Doig, Sheila Hicks, Pablo Picasso, Jeff Wall and Lawrence Weiner. Ongoing collaborations with Kai Althoff and AA Bronson have exposed his work to audiences at the Whitney Biennial, Art Basel, the SFMOMA, the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. His weavings are displayed and used in the Ace Hotel London and 66 Burnett road, the only private residence designed by Daniel Libeskind. Travis' writing has been featured in the Journal for Utopian Studies, CRAFT magazine and American Craft, and numerous reviews of his work have been published in the popular and scholarly press. Travis has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Fine Art from California College of the Arts. He lives in Berkeley with his wife Iris and their young son Louis.
