This new, original Gravel & Gold print is called “Open Spaces”, and was created in house by our brilliant Charlotte Mundloch.
Charlotte has long been fascinated by creating visual compositions in many different media.
When creating Open Spaces she used torn paper to experiment and assemble graphic forms. For her, creative activity is a grounding process, and doing this type of work unites her physical and internal experiences.
When looking at Open Spaces, feel your eyes move across the fabric, activated by the dynamic of positive and negative space. You will find shapes both symbolic and abstract. The pops of color excite and enliven!
While making this print, Charlotte looked and considered; What do you find where there is something? What do you find where there is nothing?
