Steve Morse

Having studied studio arts at St. Olaf in Minnesota, Steve worked as an amoeba farmer, raising protozoan and algae cultures for a biological supply company, and studying fisheries science at the University of Minnesota. His twenty years hanging out with fish friends on Lake Superior provides major inspiration for his glass and metal work. Trilobites, winged fish, sea urchins, frogs and woolly mammoths are the beginnings of his creations.

Steve is an accomplished sculptor, participating in metal pours all summer long, as well as a masterful stained glass artist and founder of Sea Robin Glass. He has also created a wolf habitat website and he’s currently at work on an interactive map of his beloved hiking trails through Minnesota and New Jersey. In his free time, Steve likes to fish, snorkel, and listen to frogs & and to the mighty Dead.
