Building Hero
Another hero, Dan Phillips of Phoenix Commotion, found in the digital files of a New York Times slideshow.
Dan has worked as an intelligence officer in the Army, a college dance instructor, an antiques dealer and a syndicated cryptogram puzzle maker. He now makes houses for low-income families out of salvaged materials down in Huntsville, Texas. In the following photo, you’ll see a full ceiling he constructed out of picture frame samples.
And here, one such as I’ve never seen—a cattle vertebrae chair. Man-witchy!
