Elias Reitz
Our dear friend Eli is two parts musician, one part woodworker, one part Lalli papa, inventor of Fry Dye, surfer, sailor, and 100% Aloha. He’s played with a number Bay Area bands over the years, most recently Gojogo and Painted Cakes, and has terrific natural-born timing for offering up a spontaneous song.
Eli’s love for music led him to start building wooden silence cases for recording studios, and eventually out of that workshop, hand-built frames for our recent Osborn/Woods Poster Show, and beyond. He favors working with reclaimed wood whenever possible, especially as needed on his vintage Herreshoff sailboat.
