Yellow Owl Workshop

Yellow Owl Workshop is the joint project of Christine Schmidt and her husband Evan Gross. They create limited edition paper goods using non-toxic water-based inks, 100% PCW recycled paper and their own mitts for screen printing. Each article is made by hand with expert craft from their studio perched atop blustery Bernal Hill in San Francisco, California.

Christine handles the designs. She received her BFA from the Corcoran School of Art and has exhibited across the US. She first learned how to silkscreen at a drop-in class at Mission Grafica, in our local Mission Cultural Center. Best three hours and $12 she ever spent. Evan Gross, her lovely husband, handles just about everything else.
