Wet Feltin'-a-Bangle Workshop

Ever accidentally put your wool sweater in the washer on hot and had it come out about 4 sizes smaller?  Well, guess what, you were felting!

Felt is the oldest textile fabric and can be found pretty much wherever sheep are.  Dating back as far as 6500 to 6300BC, felt precedes woven fabrics because it requires no spinning, weaving or knitting.  Instead, felting makes use of the characteristics of natural hair, fusing the fibers together with heat, moisture and agitation. Let’s do this!

In this 3-hour Beginning Wet Felting Workshop, folks will learn the basics of wet felting and create their own felted bangles and more. Let’s Get Wet N’ Wild!

Sunday September 11th, 5:00 – 8:00 pm @ The Casa de Gravel & Gold Annex
