Brooklyn, New York | Scott Lenhardt grew up in West Rupert, Vermont, studied art in Maine, New York and Italy, and is now living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Lenhardt is best known for his work with Burton Snowboards for whom he has worked off and on with since 1994.
He has created some of the companies most memorable board graphics, posters, and numerous murals stretching from New Zealand to Austria.
His process is often changing and ranges from extremely detailed paintings to expressive ink drawings to airbrushed vans to a recent series of hand drawn animations that coincide with his popular one-a-day calendar "Twenty Four Hour Woman". He has had multiple solo shows in New York and Vermont as well as a successful commercial art career working for Nike, Adidas, Vice Magazine, and Phish.
