Hue Yang

Hue Yang was born in Taiwan and now lives in a live/work studio in Oakland along with her fellow ceramicist husband. It is a lovely house of clay.

Hue’s functional ceramics express her love of animals and introduce great joy into people’s day to day life at home. Hand drawn images contrasted with subtle patterns of color cover the surfaces of her pottery, with translations of the Chinese included. All her work is handmade as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
