EMprint Press

Emily Johnson started EMprint Press in Berkeley, in 2004, as a one-woman operation. When she moved back to her family’s ranch in South Dakota in 2006, her studio came along with her in a renovated trailer. She now splits time between her trailer studio on the ranch and her new studio in a soon-to-be contemporary art museum in Portland, Oregon.

The designs of all of her cards are taken from her own drawings and photographs, and each a card is printed by hand, with love and care, on antique machinery.
