Stace Fulwiler

Sandal Making Class

August 14th 2016 11AM - 5PM

$220

Learn how to design and make a custom pair of wooden-heel leather sandals for yourself in Social Studies' dreamy backyard. We will complete the entire process of hand-making a pair of leather sandals, and you have the choice of making a very comfortable & walkable 1.5" wooden block heel or making a pair with a classic low heel.

After class you will have the knowledge to continue sandal making for yourself or your loved ones, plus a pair of sandals you made, customized by you and fit to your own feet.

Have a look at the sandals on my website to see examples of styles you can learn to create in class. I will bring several leather types & colors for you to choose from. What to bring to class: any sandals with design elements you would like to replicate, photos or drawings for inspiration, and hands that are ready to work! Both men and women are welcome to attend.

Included in class: all materials

11am - 5pm, we will take ~30 minutes for a lunch break
