Kathleen Whitaker was raised in New York. She graduated from Tulane University with a degree in ceramics, and spent a couple of years in London before laying down roots in Silver Lake, LA in 2002. Since that time, she’s been making jewelry, working exclusively in 14K, 18K and 22K gold, in addition to her continuing work with porcelain ceramics.
