Brachiopods, Snails, Crynoids, and Coral

Wende Most-Beautiful was so kind to interupt her dinner with Bill to allow us to make necklaces with the many incredible fossils she’s collected on the shores of Canandaigua Lake over the past fifty years. I received a necklace that Wende made as a gift years ago and it was an extraordinary pleasure and privledge to make my own.

The dried flowers are Bill’s doing, the six-fingered hand Wendell Castle’s.

Sensory just-right load.

The center of this one features an Austrailian opal that was mined by one of Wende’s cousins.
