Gravel & Gold is Hiring!

we need an extra pair of hands! 

We have two part-time positions available at our store. You must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are looking for someone energetic, friendly, observant and detail oriented. Retail experience would be wonderful but is not essential. 

As a member of the shop staff at Gravel & Gold you’ll play an important role in the overall vibe and experience for everyone that comes in. We want to make it a friendly, helpful and informative atmosphere.

If you can happily provide that, while multi-tasking and taking initiative on a range of projects and tasks, then get in touch! 

Your Responsibilities 

Learn about products & makers and share this information with the customers

Take care of the shop and make sure it looks its best at all times! 

Cleaning and Merchandising

Provide an inviting, fun and relaxed atmosphere

Register duties, gift wrapping etc.

Keep the shelves fully stocked and ensuring all items are tagged

Opening & closing the shop 

Occasionally managing events/workshops after shop close

Fulfilling and shipping online orders

Keep music playing at all times

Answering all manner of relevant and tangential questions: where to get lunch, yes we have a bathroom etc.

This position requires you to be willing to have a somewhat flexible schedule, occasionally working overtime during busy periods: ie: sample sales, holidays etc.

Must be available to start in mid-June.
