Susan Nash

Susan Nash, Mama of Nile, Lady of Gravel & Gold, has been a shopkeeper herself several times over. She opened her first shop, Babes in the Woods, in the Valley along with her mom Ginger. Then in the late 70′s she opened The Rain Shop, a tiny roadside attraction in Hanalei, Kauai. She and Auntie Susu would lounge in their bikini bottoms, over-sized T-shirts, and duck tail haircuts, crafting up a storm and crossing their fingers that a single customer would roll through that day. 

Susan still lives on Kauai, sanding away at her latest teak building project, stand-up paddle boarding, brewing perfect lattes, and corralling her two naughty dachshunds.
