Cheap & Cheerful

Paperwhites and amaryllis always crowd around my mom’s kitchen sink this time of year, auguring a good year to come. The lovely Studio Choo ladies have potted these for the shop with a view of the roots and soil strata for the paperwhites, and birch wrap around the amaryllises. A very fine gift for your holiday host.

   I just had the thought, a few days ago (while going there and everywhere trying to find paperwhite bulbs…and failing absolutely) that this was exactly something I could imagine finding in dearest G&G. I nearly sent you an urgent message to alert of this important niche, which was possibly also not being filled in SF. But of course! Such forethought! (And also so sad for me not to be more often in your hood.) Keep up the good works. love x 3, em
