Thanks to everyone who turned out for the listening party. Even though we only made it through half the keg, Gravel & Gold was jamming. Keep your orbs peeled for more on “Be Yourself”.
Good times.

Nile, I’m glad to find news about you on the internet and to see that you’re doing so well. You probably don’t remember this, but, my family happened to meet you, your brothers and your mom the one year we lived on Kauai, when you were quite the little “tom-boy” (probably about 5 or 6).
You gave my step-son, Matt, a run for his money at a house-party on the lawn at the pink stucco house that my husband was helping to build for the realtors (Charlie? and his wife). My step-son, Matt Kelly, had an instant crush on you and you were quite the tease/egging him on. It was quite cute and endearing.
Matt was in kindergarten or just finished it that year and you were about the same age or maybe a year older. Your mom brought you and your older brothers a little late, loaded up her plate to eat and was showing us her jewelry that she’d made. I was a fan of your dad’s music, so it was really neat to meet all of you and sad that we moved to Maui in July of that year and never got to hook up with you again after that.
Anyway, it’s neat to learn a little about what you’re doing now as a grown woman through the internet! It looks as if you’re very talented, like both of your parents, and that you’ve become an awesome young woman!
Best wishes to you always!
